Stage Electrics from UK recently supplied Transmitta Ltd with a new dV-DOSC sound system. The system, delivered to Transmitta one month ago, was immediately put into service. It has already enhanced a number of events including award ceremonies, the Kiddstock Hard Dance Festival, a James Morrison acoustic concert and is about to service the VIP arena at Oasis’ home-coming shows at Heaton Park, Manchester. Stage Electrics’ Business Development Manager Ed Gamble enthused, “it sounds awesome!”
The client’s criteria included that any system chosen had good longevity. It was therefore essential that Stage Electrics’ Ed Gamble specified one that was both future-proof and best for purpose. The subsequent investment included 12 dv-DOSC full range WST enclosures, 4 dv-SUB compact high power subs, 4 SB118 high power subs, LA8 amplified controllers and all associated cable and rigging equipment.
Transmitta, who specialise in sound, lighting and audio-visual hire pride themselves on their willingness to provide the best for their clients. They had been looking for a new sound system for some time to help them move their business forward and develop new markets. An important factor in their decision was the need for the system to be “specification compliant”. Bill Allard, Managing Director at Transmitta reports that having the right brand of equipment in their portfolio is crucial to winning the contracts. “When clients or tour managers check our stock lists, we need them to be happy to use us and our equipment directly. We looked at several manufacturers’ systems but the L-Acoustics dv-DOSC sound system from Stage Electrics ticked all our boxes and we couldn’t be happier with the results!”
Stage Electrics has enjoyed a close relationship with Transmitta for nearly 10 years and is a long standing provider of L’ACOUSTICS’ systems.
