At L-Acoustics, a professional sound system is more than a technical achievement—it’s a philosophy rooted in human connection. On June 10, 2025, L-Acoustics proudly joined 11 other multinational companies to launch the Engage & Care Corporate Coalition, a global initiative committed to promoting fair and decent living and working conditions for team members around the world. 

A Global Call for Equity and Protection

Initiated by L’Oréal, and joined by companies such as AXA, EDF, Michelin, Orange, Sanofi and more the Engage & Care Corporate Coalition responds to a sobering reality: 4.1 billion people, over half the world’s population, lack access to national social protection systems. That means billions live without income security, healthcare, or support during times of vulnerability. 

The COVID-19 pandemic exposed these gaps with painful clarity, and the need for action is urgent. Mental health, caregiving, and economic stability have become central concerns for workers across generations. As a company founded on a vision and foundation around human experience, L-Acoustics’ commitment to this corporate coalition is a natural extension of its work. Work that starts with taking care of the people within the company. 

Designing Systems with Care 

Just as L-Acoustics approaches professional sound systems with precision and empathy, we believe workplace systems should be designed with the same care. By signing the coalition’s manifesto, L-Acoustics commits to: 

• Fostering social innovation to meet evolving global needs 

• Sharing best practices across industries to accelerate meaningful change 

• Engaging with stakeholders from NGOs to academic institutions to build a more sustainable and equitable working environment 

This commitment is not just aspirational, but already in motion. Over the past year, coalition members have convened nearly 20 session meetings and working groups focused on key themes such as living wages, mental health, and caregiving. These sessions have been enriched by expert consultations and real-world case studies, laying the groundwork for a comprehensive report to be released later this year. 

The Human Cost of Inaction 

The data speaks volumes. According to the International Labor Organization, 3.8 billion people lack access to social security coverage. In 2022, 27% of workers in the EU reported suffering from stress, depression, or anxiety. Among young adults, 44% currently face mental health challenges, and working mothers continue to face career setbacks due to caregiving responsibilities. 

L-Acoustics recognizes that these issues are not abstract. They affect colleagues, families, and communities. That’s why we’re committed to creating a workplace culture that supports well-being, flexibility, and inclusion.
