Showcasing next-generation immersive audio, L-Acoustics debuts HYRISS technology for residential and marine soundscapes
MARCOUSSIS, France – July 2025 – At CEDIA Expo 2025 (September 3–6, Colorado Convention Center, Denver), L-Acoustics invites attendees to step into a world of sonic excellence, where its latest professional-grade audio innovations deliver breathtaking performance tailored for luxury residences and high-end yachts. Visitors to booth #4025 will experience a meticulously curated immersive demo room, featuring HYRISS (Hyperreal Immersive Sound Space) technologies from L-Acoustics. This powerful presentation highlights how L-Acoustics’ groundbreaking technologies can profoundly redefine the audio experience, offering customers unprecedented levels of immersion, whatever the purpose of the space.
The immersive L-Acoustics space will be configured with a complete audio setup to deliver enveloping, high-fidelity sound and unrivalled versatility, depending on room application. HYRISS technologies blend architectural elegance with cutting-edge spatial audio, offering integrators a professional-grade solution tailored to the unique demands of high-end residential environments. HYRISS creates dynamic soundscapes that adapt to the room’s purpose to deliver extraordinary clarity, precision, and immersion.
A dynamic combination of Soka loudspeakers and SB10i subwoofers for surround channels alongside compact X4i models for height channels will form the basis of the 360-degree spherical loudspeaker system. At the core of the HYRISS experience will be Anima, the audio source dynamic spatialization feature, embedded within the L-ISA processor. Anima Signatures transform traditional channel-based audio into rich, multidimensional sound environments, redefining how integrators approach immersive system design.
Loudspeakers will be driven by L-Acoustics LA7.16i amplified controllers. Seamless connectivity to source device products from partners Kaleidescape and StormAudio will be delivered by the LC16D, a high-capacity AES/EBU- and MADI-to-Milan-AVB converter – housed in a rugged 1RU chassis for installation flexibility. An LS10 Milan-AVB switch will ensure plug-and-play integration, within the L-Acoustics ecosystem. The full setup will be supported by high-performance projection and video processing from partners Barco Residential, madVR and Stewart Filmscreen, the later providing an acoustically transparent screen, that provides the necessary sound transparency for L-Acoustics high performance speakers and enabling the system to meet SPL targets in line with the CEDIA RP22 performance standard.
For system design and client communication, L-Acoustics will also showcase Soundvision Connect, the new cloud-based extension of its Soundvision 3D modeling software, at CEDIA Expo. Developed to support the design and specification process, the platform enables fast collaboration with clients, architects, and consultants in an intuitive environment. By transforming complex sound designs into interactive 3D experiences, Soundvision Connect helps integrators clearly communicate system performance and design intent, ensuring technically precise solutions that align with the overall project needs.
