L-Acoustics recognizes the importance of diversity and inclusion for the growth of the live sound and professional audio industry. And investing in women in pro audio fuels innovation and strengthens the industry as a whole. That’s why we are incredibly proud to partner with SoundGirls<\/a> to offer grants to the L-Acoustics Connect Conference in Paris!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L-Acoustics Connect Conference: A Premier Live Sound and Pro Audio Event<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The L-Acoustics Connect Conference<\/a> is a unique opportunity for audio professionals to enhance their skills, connect with industry leaders, and get a more comprehensive look into the world of L-Acoustics products, technologies, services, and solutions. This year’s conference, the first of its kind, is taking place March 11-13, 2025, in Paris, and promises to be an unforgettable experience.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SoundGirls Grant Program<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In collaboration with SoundGirls, L-Acoustics offered grants to women in audio, that would provide entry to the Connect Conference. These grants cover full conference registration, including a Day 1 training session and four nights of hotel accommodation in Paris.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Introducing the Grant Winners<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After careful consideration, we are delighted to announce the recipients of the conference grants:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Katie Maifeld: A highly experienced freelance audio engineer based in NYC. Katie has worked on countless productions across clubs, festivals, and corporate events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brianna Cofield: A skilled live sound engineer from Long Island, NY, with expertise in A1\/A2 engineering, monitor mixing, and equipment management.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alesia Taylor: A multi-talented artist, producer, and live audio engineer from Nashville. Alesia has a wealth of experience touring, mixing FOH and monitors, and working on system installations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elsa Grelot: A seasoned FOH mixer based in Brussels with nearly 20 years of experience.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are also incredibly excited to welcome Ana Hernandez, Elizabeth Grace, and Johanne Chauland to the L-Acoustics Connect Conference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With their diverse backgrounds and skill sets, these audio professionals represent the talent and drive within the SoundGirls community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
