At L-Acoustics, we believe a professional sound system is a powerful medium for connecting humans through the best shared sound experiences. This belief fuels our commitment to community, sustainability, and environmental responsibility both in the way we design our systems and how we engage with the world around us. As part of that commitment and our Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy, we\u2019re proud to offer to our teams the opportunity to take part in Climate Fresk<\/a> workshops, a global, science-based education initiative that empowers individuals and organizations to deepen their understanding of climate science and take meaningful action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Climate Fresk: Environmental Responsibility Through Climate Education<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Based on the findings of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the Climate Fresk workshop helps participants explore the complex cause-and-effect relationships that drive global warming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In just three and a half hours, Climate Fresk participants work together to map out the links between human activity and climate disruption, learning the causes and consequences and mapping them out in a fresk, thereby transforming abstract data into concrete shared insights into the extent and the urgency of climate change. The experience is both educational and empowering, turning climate science into collective understanding and putting people into action individually, at the company level and collectively in society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since its founding in 2018, Climate Fresk has reached over 1.5 million participants in more than 130 countries, with a growing network of facilitators and partners committed to accelerating climate literacy and action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why It Matters to Us<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Sustainability is a core tenet at L-Acoustics, guiding how we engineer every professional sound system and how we operate as a global company. We recognize that true sustainability goes beyond product innovation and requires a shift in mindset and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Climate Fresk aligns with our belief that education and collaboration are essential to driving meaningful change. By participating in these workshops, our teams gain a deeper understanding of the climate crisis and how we can contribute, both individually and collectively, to a more sustainable future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supporting Key Pillars of Our CSR Strategy<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In 2025, L-Acoustics began integrating Climate Fresk workshops into our CSR initiatives of Planet, People, and Sound in Society, including team wellbeing initiatives such as our participation in the Engage & Care Coalition<\/a>,  EarthPercent<\/a> and Sounds Right<\/a>. Team members across all divisions, encouraged by the CSR community, have taken part in sessions facilitated by Climate Fresk professionals as well as fellow team members who have completed a facilitator training, engaging in open dialogue and systems thinking around climate impacts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus far, L-Acoustics has offered 5 Climate Fresk workshops to our teams, training 50 people across all divisions, in France and in Singapore. We have also trained 3 team members as Climate Fresk facilitators, with one of them already having hosted a workshop in Singapore of 25 people. We plan to expand these offerings in 2026 with additional workshops and facilitator training for team members in Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to our CSR Global Director, Francoise Cardoso, \u201cThese workshops have sparked new conversations, inspired personal commitments, and informed our broader environmental strategy. They\u2019ve also strengthened our sense of community, reminding us that every professional sound system we design is part of a larger ecosystem that depends on collective care and responsibility.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking Ahead<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our launch of Climate Fresk workshops for the team is just one step in a larger journey leading the professional sound industry as a force for good. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to embedding environmental sustainability into every layer of our business, from sourcing our material to product development and supply chain practices as well as team engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We encourage other players in the professional sound system and live entertainment industries to explore Climate Fresk and consider how climate education can be a catalyst for innovation and resilience, to drive personal involvement and work collectively with our communities. The challenges we face are complex, but the solutions begin with understanding and with each of us \u2013 individually and collectively – taking responsibility for the role we play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
