Designing the optimal system for Sugar Club presented unique challenges. The venue’s complex layout, varying ceiling heights, and the critical need for precise acoustic control to prevent sound spill into adjacent areas required careful planning and sophisticated modelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vision One turned to L-Acoustics Soundvision 3D modelling software to solve these challenges. “With the venue’s complex layout, Soundvision was essential in predicting sound distribution across various zones,” notes Mr. Thitipattakul. “It allowed us to optimize speaker placement to ensure consistent coverage throughout the space, helping us achieve precise, high-performance results even in challenging acoustic areas.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The software’s analysis revealed that optimal SPL and coverage would be achieved through a strategic deployment of L-Acoustics A Series line array speakers\u2014specifically A10 units as the main system and X12 speakers as fills, both perfectly suited to the venue’s size and acoustic requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Series: Power Meets Precision<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final installation showcases the flexibility and performance of L-Acoustics A Series. The main L\/R system features one A10 Focus<\/a> and two A10 Wide<\/a> boxes per side, creating a powerful yet controlled soundscape that fills every corner of the dancefloor. Four ground-stacked KS21<\/a> subwoofers provide the deep, impactful bass that hip-hop tracks demand, while two X12<\/a> speakers serve as fills, ensuring consistent coverage throughout the venue. The entire system is powered by three LA4X<\/a> amplified controllers and an L-Acoustics P1<\/a> processor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
