SHANGHAI, China – February 2025 \u2013<\/strong> The five-member Chinese pop sensation WayV launched into the Asian music scene when they won the \u2018Best New Asian Artist\u2019 award at South Korea\u2019s 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) and followed up the year after with \u2018Favourite Asian Artist\u2019 award as well as the \u2018Asia Celebrity Award\u2019 at the Asia Artist Awards (AAA) 2020. The band has earned multiple #1 singles on Apple Music in a dozen Asian countries in the last five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To mark their release of their latest mini album, “Give Me That,” the band launched their ON THE Way Tour, electrifying 10,000 fans in Shanghai’s Mercedes-Benz Arena late last year. The sold-out show launched WayV\u2019s first-ever solo concert tour, and it showcased the dynamic stage presence of its five members as they performed their hit songs on a best-in-class L-Acoustics L Series concert sound system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“WayV’s dynamic brand of pop music demands a sound system that can deliver powerful performance and precise clarity,” says a spokesperson from Beijing Global Audiovisual Culture Development Co., the concert\u2019s sound engineering team. “The L-Acoustics L Series provided a powerful solution to showcase the group’s diverse musical range and vocal harmonies.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The arena concert production featured a main L\/R system of three L-Acoustics L2<\/a> and one L2D<\/a> per side, utilising L-Acoustics’ innovative Progressive Ultra-dense Line Source (PULS) technology. Two arrays of twelve L-Acoustics K2<\/a> and three K3<\/a> speakers provided side-fill coverage, while four pairs of L-Acoustics Kara II<\/a> speakers delivered front-fill. Twenty-four KS28<\/a> subwoofers, ground-stacked in front of the stage, delivered extended low-end power. Six L-Acoustics Kara<\/a> and twelve X12<\/a> coaxial speakers handled stage monitoring, ensuring the five members received precise audio feedback throughout their high-energy performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The L Series<\/a> system provided by\u00a0L-Acoustics Certified Provider Distributor Rightway Audio Consultants (RAC)\u00a0offered unprecedented power-to-size and weight ratios compared to conventional line sources.
