Attendees of this year\u2019s PLASA Show can experience, first-hand, at the L-Acoustics booth at the Kensington Olympia, L-Acoustics new products recently announced during the company\u2019s Keynote hosted at the iconic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L-Acoustics is exhibiting a host of new products at PLASA, including the L Series line source array, LA7.16 amplified controller, and L-ISA 3.0\u00a0<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Attendees will discover the manufacturer\u2019s newest products, including the L2<\/strong> with its patented Progressive Ultra-Dense Line Source (PULS) technology. L Series comprises two elements designed to work together or independently: L2 above and L2D below. One L2 or L2D element provides the same contour as four K2 elements in a format that is 46% smaller and 40% lighter. The audio benefits of L Series encompass industry-leading SPL per size, unparalleled consistency over the audience area, and improved rejection everywhere else. L Series also revolutionizes deployment with a smaller, lighter footprint that reduces truck space and requires fewer elements, cutting the number of actions needed to load in and out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L Series will be displayed on the L-Acoustics booth and showcased in the PLASA innovation gallery, where it is nominated for the PLASA Pioneer for Sustainability award. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also present at the booth is the LA7.16<\/a> amplified controller. Launched earlier this year, the LA7.16 offers supreme flexibility to meet real-time power needs while offering a level of efficiency and sustainability unheard of in modern touring applications. The high-density format\u201416\u00d716 architecture in a 2U format\u2014powers more line array speakers than any similar-sized amplifier, meaning fewer racks on tour, which translates directly to energy and time savings along with the ability to address multichannel and hybrid productions while offering a level of efficiency and sustainability required in modern touring applications. The high-density format saves space, weight, and time in deployment.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the L-Acoustics booth will feature an interactive <\/strong>L-ISA Studio<\/a> workstation where sound engineers and artists can explore the immersive possibilities of L-ISA technology. Visitors will be able to learn the software firsthand, gaining insight into the future of audio production and live sound. Developed to improve the workflow and unleash the creative potential of sound creators, L-ISA Studio seamlessly interfaces with leading digital audio workstations, show-control software, and game engines. It also offers compatibility with various 3D audio format outputs, including Dolby Atmos and multi-channel configurations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also on display at this year\u2019s PLASA is Soka<\/a>, the smaller sibling of the powerful Syva. Launched last year, Soka combines innovative line source technology with a sleek aesthetic featuring nine integrated 3.5-inch MF drivers and three one-inch HF transducers to transmit a wide 140-degree horizontal directivity and a highly controlled 26-degree vertical directivity. Soka and its companion SB6i<\/a> subwoofer are both ultra-shallow 3.9 inches\u2014designed to be easily enclosed in-wall or discreetly mounted on-wall\u2014yet are capable of tremendous power and bandwidth. Soka can also be combined with the larger SB10i subwoofer, making it ideal for main music systems in residential, commercial, luxury, and hospitality spaces. Rounding out the range of solutions is X4i, a superbly unobtrusive and highly weatherized coaxial loudspeaker tailored to the unique needs of installation applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
