The 743-seat auditorium, known for its versatility, hosts everything from small symphonic and chamber music to amplified concerts, festivals, musical theatre and conferences. To better serve its diverse programming and audience, Concertzaal Tilburg, has upgraded its audio with a new L-Acoustics Kara II concert sound system, marking another step in the venue&#8217;s ongoing commitment to providing quality experiences for both performers and attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Our goal with this upgrade was to address some of the acoustic challenges we&#8217;ve faced over the years,&#8221; says Pernel van Herpt, Technical Manager at Concertzaal Tilburg. &#8220;The Kara II system gives us more flexibility to accommodate our varied program while ensuring consistent sound quality throughout the hall.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" data-id=\"360679\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/la-theatre-tilburg-1-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Concertzaal Tilburg Upgrades to L-Acoustics Kara II Concert Sound System\" class=\"wp-image-360679\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/la-theatre-tilburg-1-1024x768.jpg 1024w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/la-theatre-tilburg-1-300x225.jpg 300w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/la-theatre-tilburg-1-768x576.jpg 768w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/la-theatre-tilburg-1.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Concertzaal Tilburg Upgrades to L-Acoustics Kara II Concert Sound System<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Designed to provide clear, balanced sound while minimising visual impact on the hall&#8217;s aesthetics Fairlight, L-Acoustics Certified Provider Distributor for the Netherlands, integrated a main PA with left\/right hangs of eight <a href=\"https:\/\/www.l-acoustics.com\/products\/kara-ii\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kara II<\/a> line array speakers covering the ground floor. Panflex at the asymmetric 90\u00b0 setting helps to avoid reflections from the walls while maintaining a wide stereo image. Six <a href=\"https:\/\/www.l-acoustics.com\/products\/ks21\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">KS21<\/a> are centrally flown in two columns of three, giving consistent low-end coverage and benefitting from both cardioid and end-fire technology for minimised reflections and maximised rejection on stage. Five <a href=\"https:\/\/www.l-acoustics.com\/products\/5xt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">5XT<\/a> provide front row coverage and imaging. The hall features two balconies that are covered by a distributed system of 5XT and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.l-acoustics.com\/products\/a10i-wide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">A10i<\/a> in white, to integrate nicely with the architecture. A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.l-acoustics.com\/products\/p1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">P1<\/a> processor provides Milan-AVB networking with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.l-acoustics.com\/products\/la4x\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LA4X<\/a> and LA7.16i amplified controllers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ren\u00e9 van der Linden from Fairlight commented, &#8220;We&#8217;re pleased to have worked with Concertzaal Tilburg on this project.
