Formerly Elmia Konsert & Kongress, the venue was renovated and rebranded before reopening in November of last year. The renovation was a collaboration between JKPG Fast which owns the property, Elmia, and Destination J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping which manages the space. Together. they ensured that the renewed venue was focused on enhancing the experience for both business and cultural events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The state-of-the-art L-Acoustics L Series concert sound system from L-Acoustics marks a significant milestone in the ongoing transformation of J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping Konsert & Kongress, solidifying its status as a premier destination for cultural and corporate events. Those events are diverse, ranging from congresses and corporate meetings to performances that include stand-up comedy, musicals, and concerts. The venue\u2019s centrepiece, the 1,000-seat Hammarskj\u00f6ld Hall frequently sells out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Installed by L-Acoustics Certified Provider Integrator JLE Audio, the system consists of two left\/right hangs of one L2<\/a> over one L2D<\/a> which provide clarity and advanced directional control across all frequencies. Four KS28 subwoofers<\/a> are flown centrally with an additional four KS28 placed on the floor to provide low-end extension, while eight X8<\/a> coaxial loudspeakers are used for front-fill and two for under balcony fill. Amplified controllers driving the system include four LA7.16i<\/a> for the L Series, two LA12X<\/a> for the KS28, one LA4X<\/a> for front-fills and one LA2Xi<\/a> for under balcony fills. The whole system feeds from one P1 processor through a Milan-AVB network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
