MARCOUSSIS, France\/WESTLAKE VILLAGE, California \u2013 October 2020<\/strong> \u2013 Earlier this month, L-Acoustics not only revealed the launch of its compact, full-range K3<\/a> line source array system but also immediately began shipping it to customers around the world. Today, in response to current and potential customers wanting to experience the new product in person, L-Acoustics announces a series of K3 demonstrations<\/a>. These will take place at the manufacturer\u2019s headquarters in Marcoussis, France, and the North American office in Westlake Village, California, among other locations. All demonstrations will follow a strict sanitary protocol to ensure the safety of participants, including restrictions to group size as well as supplying masks and hydro alcoholic gel for all in attendance.

\u201cK3 completes our K Series<\/a> family by bridging the space between K2<\/a> and Kara II<\/a>, and the immediate response to the compact, full-range enclosure has been very positive,\u201d explains L-Acoustics Global Director of Business Development Jochen Frohn \u201cIn the first month, we\u2019ve already taken orders from all our domestic markets, as well as international distribution partners. European K3 demos in Marcoussis will take place on November 4, 12, 18, and 25 and December 2 and 9. Similar demos in Westlake Village will be held every other Thursday, including November 5 and 19 and December 3 and 17. Ideal for mid-size events requiring plenty of output and bandwidth from a small form factor, K3 delivers the full-range L-Acoustics contour from an enclosure that is 33% smaller than K2 and weighing only 43 kg (95 lbs). Equipped with Panflex\u2122 technology for a choice of four horizontal directivity patterns, K3 boasts a maximum SPL of 143 dB and an exceptional bandwidth of 42 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB, 70\u00b0 directivity) without the need for a flown companion subwoofer. Featuring the L-Acoustics signature DOSC waveguide for long-throw capability (>35 m\/100 ft), the enclosure is perfectly suited for covering audiences ranging in size from 1,000 to 10,000 when flown in an array.
