L-Acoustics X Series Outdoor Sound System Transforms Home Entertainment in Ibiza<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

On the sun-drenched island of Ibiza, where outdoor spaces naturally extend the comforts of home, a spectacular luxury villa sought to create an idyllic retreat for relaxation and entertainment, complete with a state-of-the-art outdoor sound system. This grand project began as a garden landscaping vision led by the local design studio and architecture firm, Terravita. Concept Installations, a local integrator, was initially brought in to collaborate with Terravita on designing and installing the garden’s comprehensive lighting scheme. The centerpiece of this illuminated outdoor oasis became the main pergola, an architecturally impressive open structure crafted from precision-engineered black timber. This multi-functional space was designed to serve as a serene outdoor lounge by day, offering sensational island views, and transform into a breathtaking pavilion for social gatherings of up to 100 guests by night.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Challenge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With the pergola designed as a dynamic, multi-functional space, the challenge was to integrate systems that were not only highly effective but also aesthetically discreet. While Concept Installations successfully wove seamless lighting into the structure, the client expressed a distinct need for a high-performance sound system. This system needed to be capable of filling the entire pergola area with rich, dynamic sound, providing depth and texture for diverse uses, from tranquil relaxation to vibrant parties. Crucially, it had to deliver exceptional fidelity across a wide range of musical genres and blend seamlessly into the sophisticated aesthetic of the pergola.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Solution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Concept Installations introduced the client to L-Acoustics, recognizing the brand’s potential to offer both the perfect aesthetic complement for the pergola and the desired range and fidelity of sound. The client’s initial visit to Concept Installations’ showroom proved pivotal. Despite a modest L-Acoustics system on display, its sound performance immediately captivated the homeowner, making the decision to integrate L-Acoustics into the pergola an easy one. Supported by L-Acoustics’ expert team of design and calibration specialists, Concept Installations leveraged the company’s advanced Soundvision 3D audio modeling and sound design tools. This crucial step allowed them to meticulously optimize speaker selection, placement, and performance, ensuring the audio solution was precisely tailored for every conceivable purpose and function of the space. For this dynamic outdoor environment, the specified solution included four X6i loudspeakers paired with two SB10i subwoofers, powered by an LA4X amplified controller. The X6i loudspeakers were chosen for their elegant, streamlined design and matching finish, allowing them to integrate discreetly while delivering clear, studio-like sound. The compact yet powerful SB10i subwoofers were selected to provide high-performance low-frequency sound without visual intrusion.

The villa now enjoys an environment where music is always present, adding a magical touch throughout the garden. The system has exceeded the client’s expectations, providing the precision and detail desired for everyday use while possessing the power and scalability required for large parties. So impressed was the homeowner that they have already expanded their L-Acoustics setup with additional speakers by the pool. Furthermore, the client has commissioned Concept Installations to extend the L-Acoustics sound to two new pergola spaces currently under construction, embarking on an exciting new journey with the brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
