Hot Nightclub OMNIA at Las Vegas Caesar\u2019s Palace Calls for Hot Sound<\/strong> <\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Conceptualized around the elements of opulent, classic design and modern technology, OMNIA Las Vegas Nightclub is a 75,000 square-foot, tri-level nightclub inside the Caesar\u2019s Palace Las Vegas Hotel and Casino that offers DJs, dancing, plus bottle service, and Strip views. Guests can enjoy an interactive nightlife experience with the famed 22,000-pound kinetic chandelier, world-class service, and an unforgettable night with VIP tables that line every area of the sumptuous club and world-renowned DJs pumping the latest music out onto the dancefloor. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Challenge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Audiotek of Dublin, Ireland, supervised the technical design and installation of the audio, video, and lighting systems throughout the Hakkasan Group’s venue. The audio systems design team included Audiotek’s owner and managing director, Frank Murray, sound engineer Chris Kmiec, technical director Len Bolger, and project logistics director Mags Morton, together with James Algate, Hakkasan Group’s VP of music. The OMNIA project required a cutting-edge sound system that would embrace and specify the most innovative products regardless of their origin, complexity, or cost.  <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Solution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the Heart of Omnia ultra-lounge\u2014the Main Club, a quad arrangement of 12 ARCS II constant curvature speakers is focused on the dance floor, directly below a 65-foot-tall domed ceiling and a ten-ton “chandelier” of kinetic lighting and projection. The low-end is handled by a dozen SB28 dual-18-inch subwoofers, clustered together for greater coupling and positioned below the stage. On stage, two stacks, each comprising three Kara WST line source modules and two SB18 subs, deliver foldback to the DJs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twenty-six passive 12XTi coaxial speaker cabinets provide mezzanine and under-balcony fill. They are delayed back to the main dance floor to provide uninterrupted, even coverage throughout the massive space accommodating 3,500 patrons. Six ARCS Wide constant curvature speakers and four SB18 single-18-inch subs provide additional fill, also timed back to the main system at the club’s rear bar area. Nine LA8 and eight LA4X amplified controllers drive the entire main club system. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Result<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The team achieved results far beyond their greatest expectations, with the L-Acoustics kit delivering a sublime performance night after night for the DJs and clubbers. The uniform reaction of clubbers, performers, and management has been overwhelmingly positive for the Hakkasan Group’s venue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
