Robbie Williams impressed the critics over three performances at the O2 Arena in London from 22 November to 24 November, performing his new no.1 album, “Take the Crown” to rapturous audiences. The three concerts had sold out within an hour – a Ticketmaster record for 2012. The Telegraph gave Robbie Williams five stars in their review.
Britannia Row Productions supplied the L-ACOUSTICS systems for the concerts. Sherif El Barbari who was at the helm as Systems Designer, said that, “Over three consecutive evenings Robbie ‘took the crown’ for entertainment and charm. The L-ACOUSTICS systems flawlessly delivered his sound to thousands of his fans.”
For this production Britannia Row Productions provided 48 x L-ACOUSTICS K1 elements – four hangs of 12 boxes and 32 x L-ACOUSTICS KARA elements – two hangs of 16 boxes. All of which were arranged in a back to back configuration. The operating bandwidth of the system was extended using 32 x L-ACOUSTICS SB28 sub bass elements – 4 hangs of 8 boxes. KUDOS were also used for delays.
Additionally, front-fill coverage was addressed by 16 x KIVA elements and 4 x MTD 108 completed by 8 x groundstacked SB28 subwoofers. LA-RAK amplifier racks were flown in four hangs of 4 racks, two hangs on each of the East and West sides of the arena.
