CAMPINAS, São Paulo, Brazil -- Loudness Sonorização, one of South America’s leading sound reinforcement companies for more than three decades, has purchased its first full L-ACOUSTICS system, comprised of 16 KUDO enclosures, eight SB28 subs, a dozen 115XT HiQ stage wedges and a dozen LA8 amplified controllers.
The Brazilian company has also added 32 powered 108P enclosures to its inventory, which are currently serving as a surround sound system for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera at Teatro Opera in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
According to Márcio Pilot, co-owner of Loudness and director of the company’s sound reinforcement and live recording divisions, “We chose KUDO for many reasons. Our engineers love the high quality sound, power, and control of the system, plus the uniquely adjustable K-Louvers make the enclosures extremely useful for many different environments. We’ve flown KUDO arrays indoor and outdoor, both vertically and horizontally, for everything from pop, rock and jazz concerts in small arenas to open-air classical music performances and TV shows. It’s a very flexible system suitable for all kinds of applications.”
Pilot also cited KUDO’s compact size, cost-effectiveness, and maintenance-free operation as additional benefits that Loudness has come to appreciate since taking delivery of its new L-ACOUSTICS rig.
“My partners and I were well aware of L-ACOUSTICS’ reputation for quality and worldwide rider acceptability before purchasing our first system from them,” Pilot adds. “Now that we have it, we are extremely pleased with its performance and market acceptance.”
